Images for albums are first transferred (uploaded) from an internet connected computer to the Gallery. Image files that can be uploaded include digital camera photos, scanned film photos, scanned paper documents, program generated images, presentations and computer screen captures. Images must be in the Gallery before albums can be created. Gallery images can be erased and reloaded. Help guidelines are provided for downsizing large files to optimize viewing quality while minimizing upload time. Cachelan will automatically resize images to fit the visitor's screen for the best viewing experience.

Optional titles and text can be added to images. Add explanations for selling products, highlighting capabilities in a portfolio, explaining technical details or commenting on pictures.
